I wanted to make sure that pod number 1 and in fact, my very first interview, truly set the tone. The tone for me and of course, for what TWW would be about / what it would stand for. And Sophie was IT.
I had never met Sophie before, but I'd recently had my first tattoos at her studio, by one of her 'crew', the amazing Sami Gray; and while there (and through some other shared friends), I heard about Sophie and I knew she was the girl to get. Confident, brave and an all round OG 'just do it' attitude, she's the real deal. Oh and she's a crazy-talented Tattoo artist... in case that wasn't obvious. If anyone had a great story to tell, it was Sophie.
I messaged her out of the blue and told her what TWW was about... and she instantly said yes. Within days we sat down together and TWW began.
Women, right, we just get on with it ;-)
Of course I was as nervous as hell. What on earth was I doing? I had no experience in interviewing people like this, arggghhh send help! But Sophie's super-chilled demeanour and blindly supportive approach relaxed me lots. Thanks heaps Sophie x
Sophie's instagram account is @sophieearledentattoo so give her a follow!
Enjoy.

PS. Please bear with re the background noise here and there. Our room was right near a busy road (as the emergency services siren right at the end proves) and at present we don't have all-singing-and-dancing mics; but we will, oh yes we will... just give us time.
PPS. Can I also ask you to please bear with ME? I'm learning on the job with these pods and I'm not used to speaking/interviewing like this, so the nerves were (still are) rife. Who knew someone could speak so damn fast and then say say 'yeah-yeah' so damn much, completely unnecessarily...?!
