I called Lyndsay back in September ('23) and asked her to take some 'professional', but also 'casual' shots of me for my new business. She was crazy busy, but similarly too nice for her own good, so she squeezed me in and together we managed to get some pretty decent shots of me over a 3-hour period. And of course, as she was shooting me, I told her what my new business was and I asked her there and then to be one of my interviewees.
Again, too nice for her own good she couldn't say no, however, she did say I'd have to wait until her schedule relaxed a bit; which came a couple of weeks ago. So after nagging and nagging, I finally managed to pin her down for a chat.
I've always known Lyndsay to be incredibly hard working, but I didn't realise (until our chat) the full extent of that work ethic, and certainly not that it started from such a young age.
She is a photographer born and bred; it's all she's ever done and all she knows, and that shows in her work. Her creative eye and her attention to detail are second to none and when it came to having my own ugly mug shot, there wasn't anyone else I trusted to do it.
Lyndsay's social handles are: @shutterboxphotography and @ford.lyndsay (although her instagram pages are pretty empty; go to FaceBook to contact her)
Enjoy.
