Meg's story is brilliant for a few reasons. 1. For the fact that it's truly international and covers a decent work/life stint in Aus, including getting married and having kids there. 2. Because it's yet another great example of someone's 'squiggly' journey in following their true calling in life, and 3. Because it covers overcoming real heartbreak and tragedy, and deciding how you can turn that into something good.
Meg's sister tragically died very young; her mum passed away of cancer a few years later, and then her marriage broke down soon after that. Which is a lot. And yet she didn't lose track/lose hope... Something in her kept her moving and kept her looking forward.
And even though Meg's journey has been squiggly (as I've now decided we're going to call it), it's been a themed kind of squiggly... Always creative, which therefore never took her too far off course.
It's really difficult to describe/articulate how beautiful Meg's flowers are - and how crazy realistic they are - and anything I say won't do them justice, so please do check out her instagram (linked below). It's also really difficult to articulate how brilliant I think it is as a business... Because it's so utterly unique. There's no world in which - prior to this pod, perhaps - you'd leave college and go: 'Right, I'm going to be a paper-flower artist and make money that way'. And yet you can. Meg is!
Which is further proof of why I'm doing TWW and the positive impact I know it can have on people going forward. I'm about 5% of where I want TWW to be (more on that coming soon... ;-), and pods like this give me extra confidence to keep going and keep at it.
... Because the world needs more Megs; we all need more Megs to be following their true calling/their true north and making money doing it.
Enjoy.
