I first took my kids to 'The Forest Facility', back in April (2024), and we went in BIG from the start... Given there are multiple 'adventures' to undertake, depending your level of interest, and let's face it, your bravery; I booked my kids and I onto the ultimate adventure... The Assault Course!
There were some bum-clenching moments as we went along (fully guided), I can't lie, and my kids didn't complete the whole thing... But I did! And I was so blimin' proud that I did.
Darren and Sarah's enthusiasm for the outdoors and for physical activity - in the fresh air - is contagious. They live and breath what they do, which is why I've been back a couple of times since, and is why, particularly in Spring and Summer, they are nearly fully booked.
When I chatted to them both, it's clear that Darren is the driving force behind the business, and some might say (Sarah might say), the driving force behind the madness; but you quickly realise how much he relies on Sarah as a voice of reason and as his anchor. Their relationship is such that Darren can go off and do crazy things (i.e. ultra marathons around the world), in the knowledge that Sarah is there to support him and come home to. Just like Sarah knows that when Darren goes away, she finally gets to have some peace and quiet :-)
They're a fab couple, on a fab mission, to give normal people like me, a fab experience, and as soon as men and couples were on the TWWork agenda, I knew I had to go and chat to them, and hear how it all came about.
Their story is so full and rich that it's pointless me waffling any more on here, so please go and watch them, and their story for yourself.
