Even though super-cool and super-classy (and super Glaswegian) Caroline is now based in the same Stamford studio space as Sophie (our tattoo artist pod) at Eden, I've been going to Caroline for years and she has done countless rounds of amazing nail art on me. She came recommended to me, not just because of her crazy skills, but because of her amazing attitude and outlook on life... you just want to be around her... in a non-creepy way, of course.
I always take her some inspiration pics with me (my TikTok algorithm spits out nail art like there's no tomorrow, and cake decorating and pimple-popping, but the latter aren't relevant here) and she works her magic. My all time favourite design, is when I went in before Halloween 2019 (before c-vid, remember those innocent days?) and told her I wanted PacMan nails (aka the old arcade game). The epic result is below.
Caroline is a pro in all she does and her overall approach sets her apart. She's a great role model for anyone looking to start a career in the industry, hence why I made her... forced her (just kidding, she came willingly) to sit down with me.
Caroline's instagram account is @edennaildesign, so give her a follow!
Enjoy.
Chops x
PS. Yes, I put my mic too far away from me on this one... I was balancing on the sofa you can see and I mucked-up. Luckily it's Caroline you're actually listening to, and her mic was bob-on. With that in mind, can I ask you to please bear with ME on these first pods? I'm learning on the job and I'm not used to speaking/interviewing like this, so the nerves were (still are) rife. I'll get there, though, promise.
PPS. If you look closely you can see the clingfilm on my wrists from my new tattoos (I went for a top-up). Pics are on the Sophie post, if you're interested.
