Jess works in the same Eden Studio as Sophie (tattoo artist) and Caroline (nail tech), so came onto my radar that way, and also because I started to follow one of her instagram (working women) support groups.
I knew she was a fierce supporter of working women, and a hard-working (mumma and) woman herself, but I didn't realise why... What drives her to be all of those things and a whole lot more.
But now I do, and I hope as you read this, you do too (or are imminently about to)... And it was unexpected to say the least. Especially when I've only known (in the short time that I have) Jess to be super positive and yes, super fierce.
Life is a hard, complicated mess for most of us, and after the last few years of near-marital separation and then the last year+ of actual marital separation, I have felt that a lot. But for Jess it was more than that; and hard, complicated and messy don't even come close. She doesn't go into graphic details during the chat, but we're all worldly enough to know what she's saying.
Jess is amazing at what she does, and knowing that she does it while carrying (and dealing with) some pretty hefty baggage is inspirational to say the least.
